Jump to navigationJump to searchThis happened in a Star Trek DS9 episode where Thomas Riker (from TNG: "Second Chances") decides to steal the Defiant from DS9, and runs into Chief Miles O'brien in the defiant bridge. The common answer is that Riker had no good reason other than to get O'brien off the bridge, so that he could phaser major Kira and steal the ship. There was no heated argument or saying goodbye on bad terms between Obrien and Riker. Why O'brien didn't say something or ask why to Riker, nobody knows.
