The CM11a is an RS-232 serial based computer device that is able to control x10 units directly from the computer.

The CM11a can be unreliable in the right environments. This can cause slow x10 signals, not getting any x10 signals, only certain devices receiving x10 signals, or no communication between the computer and the cm11a.
