This will allow you to automatically startx (start the x server for linux) when you login. It will bring you to a desktop at boot if you do this with the auto login script. First we need to add the command to our autorun script rc.local
- Edit the file /etc/rc.local
sudo nano /etc/rc.local
- Add this line just before the exit command
su -l pi -c startx
We need to give the user pi more access
- Edit /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config
sudo nano /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config
- Change this line
- allowed_users=console
- To this line
- allowed_users=anybody
