Help and with mediawiki templates
Template:PROTECTIONLEVEL solution
For mediawiki 1.14 this template was apparently linked to by other templates. I could not find the code for it, but this problem was solved when I installed the Extension: Parser Functions from Mediawiki site linked above. The templates still link to this pseudo-template but it does not show as an error, or template link in the template itself.
These will be fixed by this solution:
- Template:PROTECTIONLEVEL:create
- Template:PROTECTIONLEVEL:delete
- Template:PROTECTIONLEVEL:edit
Links to templates you cant find
Links to templates that you are unable to find on any mediawiki install, or google are usually a sign that:
- there is some type of version conflict (an upgrade could help, but can be dangerous)
- you do not have the parser extension properly installed
- you did not install all of the required templates
Code being displayed in template
This is a sign that your wiki cannot 'parse' the code. If you followed the guide and it still shows this, you can always edit out the sections that dont display properly. Start at the template you are using like Template:Infobox and look in its code to try to remove the section that is causing the problem displaying the template. You are on your own here, but it is simple HTML, with a bunch of dynamic links to templates inside it.
