It has 8 buttons on the keypad. The switch was working fine until one day I reset the circuit breaker and it would only flash on and off. I did not change the wiring. The lights controlled by the main switch button would pulse at very low power, and the COMPACT FLUORESCENT lights would emit a tiny light, then continuously cycle on and off making a clicking noise each time.<br /> <br /> ==Symptoms==<br /> *Insteon switch turning on and off<br /> *Insteon switch making clicking noises in a cycle<br /> *Insteon switch blinking on and off<br /> *Insteon switch making a solid beep noise<br /> <br /> ==Solution==<br /> My problem was related to the &#039;&#039;&#039;CFL or Compact Fluorescent Lights&#039;&#039;&#039; the Insteon switch was controlling. I replaced the CFL with old school incandescent bulbs and it worked fine. No more flashing switches, no more flashing lights, no more clicking noise.
