View source for Auto startx on login - raspbian

This will allow you to automatically startx (start the x server for linux) when you login. It will bring you to a desktop at boot if you do this with the auto login script.

First we need to add the command to our autorun script rc.local
*Edit the file /etc/rc.local
 sudo nano /etc/rc.local
*Add this line just before the exit command
 su -l pi -c startx

We need to give the user pi more access
*Edit /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config
 sudo nano /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config
*Change this line
